Blue Lives Matter – NYC
10/28 | Yankee Stadium c/o NYCFC | 4:30PM
Blue Lives Matter is a 501-C3 organization to help families of law enforcement during times of need. Join them this Sunday to cheer on NYC’s own Major League Soccer team New York City Football Club at the last home regular season match of the season! This is a great time of year to be at Yankee Stadium! There is a fan fest on the plaza right before the match! A different type of Sunday Funday is waiting for you!
Breathe Deep NYC 3K
10/27 | Pier 63 Hudson River Park | 8:30AM – 12PM
Breathe Deep NYC is organized and managed by individuals who are affected by lung cancer throughout the tri-state area. The whole purpose of this walk is to raise funds for the LUNGevity Foundation; a charity that strives to find better lung cancer detection practices as well as more efficient and effective treatment options. A lovely fall walk along the Hudson River could be exactly what the doctor ordered for the last October Saturday of 2018.
10/28 | Grand Concourse at 164th Street | 8:30AM
This is the largest free cycling event in NY State! You can choose between the 25 mile route or the 40 mile route, whichever one speaks to you! Bikes will be available to rent at the starting point on 164th Street. Your rental does come with a helmet (safety first)! Both of the rides conclude at the New York Botanical Garden, which is GORGEOUS this time of year, well it is beautiful any time of year, but fall and foliage, YES! Complimentary t-shirts will be given at the finish line!
Sweat for Breast Cancer

Join Soul by the Pound for their 6th Annual Break a Sweat for Breast Cancer! Saturday’s fitness sweat party is a group of powerful women standing up to breast cancer. This is a day of fitness, beauty, empowerment, and shopping to celebrate the survivors and halt cancer. For good. Swag bags, hair tutorial, and more!
NYC Best Halloween Parties

You want a Halloween party on a yacht? Ok check this list out and buy tickets! Rooftop? Yup! Want to go to some of the best clubs in NYC to celebrate this spooky time of year? Marquee, Lavo, Valdal, PhD! Dress to impress! Drink specials, ghosts, ghouls, goblins. All included!
Dog Costume Contest
10/28 | Washington Square Park | 11AM – 2PM
This is so, so much more than just a dog costume contest! Just be advised, yes there are prizes for best costume, and yes there are multiple categories of competition!! Pre-registration is strongly encouraged! A Halloween dog parade sounds like a Saturday that a bunch of people would absolutely love!
Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses
10/28 | Strong Rope Brewery | 10:30AM – 11:30AM
Yoga, dogs, and beer, oh my! Benefitting Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue, this event allows the people to do the yoga while the dogs do the cuddles. There will be adoptable dogs doing the cuddles! Bring your own mat and towel, tickets are available online or at the door. Those 21+ will enjoy a free pint after class! Only Louie’s adoptable dogs will be allowed on the floor, so don’t get too excited and B.Y.O.Pooch!
NJ’s Ultimate Women’s Expo
10/27-28 | NJ Expo Center | 10AM – 5PM
This is the ultimate ladies day! This day will be COMPLETE with shopping, spa treatments, tastings, celebrity speakers and so much more! Tori Spelling, Anne Burrell, Nancy Grace and so many more will be in attendance. Yes it is outside NYC, but that’s okay. This woman’s expo doesn’t come around all that often, so be sure to take advantage while it’s here in our neck of the woods! Ladies, you’ll be relaxed, rejuvenated, happy, and inspired!
