2019 Volo Skeeball Nationals Recap

After a few years of hiatus, the Volo Skeeball Nationals came back strong!

The 2019 Volo Skeeball Nationals tournament took place in New York City May 3rd-5th, with all proceeds going directly to the Volo City Kids Foundation. We had teams join us from Baltimore, Boston, Charleston, DC, Denver, and of course NYC!

The eventful weekend kicked off Friday night with FREE dinner and a Skeeball High Roller Competition. Greg Lopez (NYC) took home the title of Highest Roller with a score of 490!

Saturday was jam packed with activities including a world cup style skeeball tournament during the day and a championship bracket in the evening. Skeepin’ It Real from Baltimore took home the Skeeball National Champions title!

In addition to Skeeball, we had a Pop-A-Shot and Survivor Flipcup Tournament to raise money for the Volo Kids. Jonathan Chung (NYC) took home the Pop-A-Shot title and Kayleigh Thomas (Balt) took home the Survivor Flip Cup win! Congratulations to both!

Overall, Skeeball Nationals was a huge success! Everyone had a great time but the real winners are The Kids, as we raised $2,800 which will go directly to creating FREE Kids Leagues in our communities!
